Knock ME Down Adventure Race Testimonials
What an unbelievable weekend meeting the best people .
What an amazing event @knockmedown.ie. The atmosphere was incredible from start to finish. It was my first time doing this event and certainly won’t be my last. I had the best competition right up to the finish line.
The community support was unreal from organisers, staff, volunteers, photographers, refreshments, marshals and everyone involved was unreal 🤩🤩.
The recovery after the event was amazing from ice 🧊 baths to sauna to massage. Recovery boots from @pro_recovery_clonmel was so welcomed after a great challenge thank you 🤩.
Wanting your amazing day captured by the best who was also on hand prize giving @gregdillon.art is a fantastic way to capture such a day. Pop into his account and see his fablous work. Also he completed the event alongside me and I must say I had a tough time keeping up to him.
I’ll definitely be back. Here’s to 2026 and doing it all over again 🤩🥂

I was in Newcastle Co. Tipp. Saturday for the Knock Me Down adventure race.
Firstly, I want to commend everyone involved in this event. I’ve been racing over 10 years, and I can honestly say this was one of the best organised events I attended. From start to finish, it was so well marshalled and sign posted.
I highly recommend trying this event if you’re thinking of trying an adventure race. A great local community run event and the finish area is brilliant with a sauna, ice tubs, recovery boots and massage therapists, and a great feed 🤤🤌.

2nd year taking part & the relaxed start is great. It’s a super challenging course, esp the 1st run. Marshall’s throughout the course are super but shout out to guys at Kayak section they are super. Might give the MÓR a go next year 🙏.

Overall, an excellent event. It’s one of the best Adventure races I’ve taken part in. An incredible amount of marshals and helpers, very smooth overall. The kayak transition in and out of the water is the best in the country. Brilliant that its not a commercial venture too.

I’ve been lucky enough to run more than 80 races across the country, and this one truly stands out. The atmosphere, the scenery, and the challenge all combine to make it one of the very best. It has that special community spirit where everyone—kids, parents, grandparents—comes out to cheer and support. You’ll find encouragement at almost every turn, which makes the miles fly by.
With two races on offer, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Can’t wait to be back next year! See you there!

This was honestly the BEST organised and marshalled adventure race I’ve ever done. (And I’ve done loads) The post race party was top class!!! I spoke to the organisers at the end to tell them this. Credit where credit is due !! 10/10

This was my 3rd time, MÓR the first year and Challenge the last two. This year I travelled on my own to attend as wouldn’t miss it. It was my 12th adventure race and has always been above others even larger events in every way. The after race set up is fantastic, the food is perfect, the multiple recovery stations all head and shoulders above the rest . The pre-race communication is excellent, emails, txts etc. On the day the volunteers are friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. 😅Love that there are photographers on both routes that don’t just focus on the elites at the start. Also love that there is a bike repair station at the start which is great peace of mind.
